Schnitter Architects was established in 2002 by Curt and Madeleen Schnitter, both Professional Architects who qualified in 1994 at the University of the Free State .

 

Sharing a passion for Architecture we pride ourselves in our work.  Architecture isn’t only our career but our lifestyle.

 

Over the 30 years of experience Curt mainly focused on Commercial & Industrial architecture, which includes work for Obaro, Afgri and Alzu. Curt designed numerous customized Filling Stations and enjoy the integration of Site lay-out and design as much as the design of the building.

 

Madeleen started out with Retail at Boogertman + Partners, but after establishing their own firm focused mainly on High-end Residential design, spilling over to high density residential. Madeleen was also involved with Filling Station design. The last couple of years we had the privilege to be the Design Architects for one of the most prominent Mining Companies in South Africa.

 

Schnitter Architects has a close working relationship with Infrastructure Consulting Engineers, assisting them with various Filling Station Projects.

 

Our company has played a significant role in shaping numerous residential and golf estates as both design and controlling architects since 2002.
